Fred & Ginger was nominated as a finalist for the South London Business Awards in 2012 in the following categories: Best Small Business, Best Young Entrepreneur and Best Woman In Business. Victoria was delighted to have been awarded the winner of the Best Woman in Business category, having been selected from 80 applicants and 5 finalists for her outstanding achievements with Fred & Ginger.
Fred & Ginger were also voted Silver Award Winner for the London Brand Amplifier Awards 2012, for demonstrating superb brand awareness and for having the vision taking Fred & Ginger into a globally recognised brand within 3 years.
That same year Fred & Ginger was nominated a finalist for Directional Brand of the Year for the UK Lingerie Awards 2012, only fractionally missing out on the award to one other brand.
Fred & Ginger saw success in the quality of their imagery, proven in a 20x10ft hoarding in the lingerie department of Selfridges, London.
The hoarding led to the producers of Britain’s Next Top Model asking Victoria to direct a traditional Fred & Ginger photoshoot with her team of experts using the 15 potential models and creating some incredible imagery for the contestants to use in battle against one another. A two hour show that was aired in over 15 countries worldwide.
In addition, Fred & Ginger was also selected as one of the top 30 lingerie brands in the world by Patrice Farameh, editor and author of Second Skin. Fred & Ginger are proud to say that they have 10 full pages of their imagery in this fabulous coffee table book, available to buy from all major bookstores worldwide and translated into 30 different languages.
More recently Fred & Ginger was granted CoolBrand® status for 2014/15, which boosted the brand’s reputation and awareness exponentially with a coffee table book publication and notification in The Sunday Times newspaper and online.
From 2015 to the present, Victoria put the brand to rest whilst focussing her time and efforts into bringing up her children. Now is the time to re-launch the brand and continue her successes in her new direction of luxury bespoke bridal wear.
